End of Financial Year Office Clear Out!!
Would you like to securely dispose of technology piling up in your office and use it to feed people in need??
As part of our commitment to our clients and our commitment to community we are excited to announce a new partnership with Social Enterprise, Pony Up for Good who have a mission to leverage the residual value of used technology and turn it into fresh meals for people across Australia doing it tough.
Peppermint IT is running an End of Financial Year tech amnesty for our wonderful clients and we are partnering with Ponyup for Good to ensure the most secure and environmental outcome for the equipment. Small quantities of IT (under 10 items) can be dropped off to our office in North Sydney. For larger collections, and a small fee, Pony Up can send a team to your site to pack up and clear out your IT storage rooms.
Pony Up will then collect the equipment and provide Blancco data erasure ($15 per drive if required), debadging, refurbishing and remarketing services, keeping it out of landfill and extending its valuable life. Then, as icing on the cake, PonyUp donates 50%of resale profits to their charity impact partner, Second Bite, Australia's superheroes of fresh food rescue. Any technology that cannot be remarketed is recycled by AS/NZS 5377 and ISO14001 accredited recyclers who achieve up to 95% diversion from landfill.
We will look forward to sharing updates with you as the program progresses and we get data on the weight of the technology we have diverted from landfill, the percentage able to be reused and the number of meals we have been able to provide to people in need through our partnership with PonyUp. Following this EOFY campaign we will also be able to connect you with the PonyUp team for any ad-hoc needs you may have.
